ah-soy
Never poured these before and just wondered if I need to wick up? Thanks:)
bearmnt
what wax, wick and container are you using?
ah-soy
Well, that would be helpful eh? I'm pouring 6006 in a 2.75 and 3" tumbler...starting with zinc wicks
Stella1952
You really need to check this out for yourself. Each candle system is a little different. If someone tells you that they wick up for a certain FO, would you automatically do that without testing?
ah-soy
Stella, I am testing. Just asking for others experience so I have a starting point. Please don't make the assumption I am not testing. Edited July 29, 2011 by ah-soy
EricofAZ
I have Leather from lonestar and don't have to change wicks. Dunno about peaks. But I have to say that while Stella is correct that some FO's require wick changes, I have found darned few that actually do. Sadly, I have about 200 FO's here and 30 EO's. Way too many for a hobby. ksranch
I poured Geniune Leather from Peaks yesterday - will be testing today - I did not change wicks, so will let you know how it goes. Have Gma's Eggnog to test this weekend too!

ksranch
I test burned the Leather today with no changes and no problems.
ah-soy
Thanks guys. Leather just "sounds" heavy ha! But good to know. I'll wick it with my standard size for those containers and see how it does. I'm going to start one size up with the Eggnog since I think it's heavy on vanilla. Thanks for your help!
