Sugar Cone Pillars

Recommended Posts

After a couple weeks of failed attempts, I finally have a finished product that looks pretty good. I also changed waxes and used 50/50 pillar wax from NG instead of Ecosoya PB. The 50/50 pillar wax worked great and it's granulated so it's easy to work with.

These are tea light sugar cone pillars - molds from Fleximolds.com

I used 2 drops of Ivory liquid dye and Pumpkin Loaf scent from Midwest for both pillars.

That looks pretty! So you use it by putting a tea light inside? Does it make the glow of the design more visible this way?

The tea lights come with a battery and you can turn it on and off. I got the battery operated tea lights at Amazon.com - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GDXGCO

You can use standard tea lights with a wick if you want. Either one will fit inside the opening on top. The design itself won't glow.
