jaxxcandles
I am always researching, checking out the competition and looking for new ideas. Has anyone checked out the Yank** Pink Sand? Would love to find a dupe for it.
SliverOfWax
My question would be, "what, exactly, does pink sand smell like?"I would imagine it's an old scent Yank renamed. I've never understood some of the scent names people come up with. Admittedly, I have a few strange ones of my own. But Pink Sand? What is this? Regular sand someone bled on? I would never buy a candle called Pink Sand. But that's just me.Thanks for letting me vent!:lipsrseal
Ravens
I remember reading that some beaches in the Bahamas have "pink" sand, but I can't tell you whether it's true or not.
SliverOfWax
Yes, they do. Some beaches have pure white sand. But what does it smell like? Ocean and brine and salt. Things that don't make sense just make me cranky. BUT...if I knew where the OP could get Pink Sand, I would certainly say.
jaxxcandles
It was along the lines of a fruity beachy (tropical) scent. I am looking for some new summer scents. And yes there are sands that are pink. In some tropical areas this is from coral remains. If only I could go research it further in person. Monvi33
I think is sounds interesting....I like fun names that make my want to see what it smells like just because it's got an interesting name...that's just my opinion. I think I will have to go looking for that just to smell it!!!
