dliteful scents
Hello All!I was wanting to give the wax dipped bears a try. Has anyone had good or bad luck with them? Which Wax do you think works best? Just researching it now so i thought i'd ask the experts!thanks
Vicky_CO
I have done them in both pillar soy and pillar paraffin. Both waxes work well. I usually did them in IGI 1343.
mparadise
The only wax that has NOT worked for me on dipped critters is palm wax. It is too brittle and leaves "dandruff" when dry. I have used soy and paraffin in pillar wax or a blend of pillar & container (75/25) with great luck.
Maggie
I used to dip bears but got so overwhelmed with them that I quit making them. lol Anyway...I also used a mix of paraffin and container wax. The container wax I used was from KY...she has since stopped carrying it. I did an 80/20 blend...80% container and 20% FR3035 from Candlewic. Akashasmiles
I use pillar soy wax. I don't use a blend though just pure soy wax, and essential oils. So far the bears last forever. Lol!
