EricofAZ
I've been intrigued by GB402 wax that is certified kosher and FDA approved.Looked at a few websites about kosher candles. If I am reading correctly, having a flame that is stable and doesn't jump around is crucial. Some websites suggest that using a non-kosher wax is OK if the flame is stable. Not sure that is correct. Some websites offer colored candles. Is the colorant kosher? Some websites offer scented kosher candles. Is the scent kosher? What about the wick?I would assume a glass container or metal wick tab would be a non issue. Some websites have special shapes and containers for special purposes.Seems to me this an interesting consideration to candle making. What about beeswax, is that Kosher?Anyone make kosher candles and if so, any tips to consider?
