Connie
Well my first batch of soap is a mess. The lye is Potassim Hydroxide instead of Sodium Hydroxide. Oils would not stay mixed. Is this the problem?Making candles is so much easier for me.If you are suppose to use sodium hydroxide why would they sell the other kind with soap ingredients? Setting here scratching my head. Lorrie
Potassim Hydroxide is for making liquid soap. That is why it is in with the soapmaking supplies.Since you have some potassim hydroxide why not see if you can find a liquid soap recipe? And sorry this happened.
