Jewls819
During my testing of wood wicked candles, I have run into a slight problem that has only happened twice during all of my testing. I use high melt temp hot glue to hold down my wicks. During testing 2 out of 50 candles that I let burn completely to the bottom until they stopped, caused the glue to release and the wick to slide to the edge of the jar. This worries me even though it has only happened twice. Is there something that will withstand the temperature to keep the wick in place. I has read some use silicone or wick stickers..any thoughts? jonsie
Jewls, glad to see you got your problem solved, but I'm curious. What kind of jars are you using, and are you using wick tabs?
Jewls819
I am using 8oz square mason jars and 26oz terrace jars. The wick tabs are from bittercreek. The tabs sold with the wood wicks. http://cart.candlesupply.com/product.php?productid=20803&cat=609&page=
