pmurphyfan
First of all I apologize if there is info out there already on this topic.........I did a couple searches and I couldn't find what I needed. If I want to ship lotion to a friend are there certain requirements? Do I have to disclose the ingredients to the USPS? Such as the flash point of the FO I am using? I hope I don't sound like a complete moron:(
SatinDucky
You're not shipping FO, but scented lotion. Anything the FO is mixed with changes the flash point and I would imagine the flashpoint of lotion to be very high and the very small amount of FO in it negligible. Mixed together you don't need to worry about it, IMO
Judy, USMC
I believe the flash point would be well over 200 so it's not considered hazardous in that aspect. You should let them know that there is a liquid in the box. I would recommend putting the lotion bottle in a plastic bag just to prevent leaks (if any) from getting to the shipping box.
