I have a couple question for a guru of candlemaking:smiley2:I tried make carved candles last spring and got a few problems:(One and the biggest of them is melting of candle while pretty hot around. I mean hot summer... >86 F...The candle under this temperature are loose the shape, very soft.Now I'm trying to get right formula be experiments, but not successfull yet... I'm mixing follow components:- paraffin (130 and 140 F melt point)- stearine (stearic acid)- micro wax 180 F melt pointMay be I have to add something else?If somebody can suggest right proportion I'll be so much appreciated!!! The lady at a local 99 cent store (and items more expensive) said she used to buy carved candles but the supplier stopped making them. They look like a lot of fun.
