Ok so I have been testing wood wicks with gw464.

Here are a few pics.

First one is a medium wick burnt about 10 minutes

Second one is a large wick burnt about 10 minutes

Third one is a medium wick again burnt about 45 minutes

4th one is a large wick again burnt about 45 minutes

BOTH wicks seem to be burning about the same. Although the large wick has a bigger flame.

Neep opinions please.

IMHO (since you asked :D)

The medium wick looks perfect. It gives you a full melt pool in the correct amount of time. The flame is smaller and the melt pool is not as deep as the large. This will help give your candles a longer burn time.

But before I ever make a final judgement, I always like to see how a wick performs & behaves closer to the bottom of the jar.

I'm not an expert but I hope I'm of some help.

Thank you for sharing your testing.

The candles look like they are burning really good. I have been testing the wood wicks with GW464 and C 3 soy wax and notice that with both the wax turns slightly tan after about the 4th or 5th burn. Is anyone getting these results, and if so, do you happen to know why?

Thanks
