SouthernGal
They look really nice. Great job!!!How big is the diameter of the jars? Did you use f/o?
kountrytimes
The diameter of jars is 3 inches and I did use FO. Both hot and cold throw are great.
SouthernGal
That sounds great!!! The burns look really good but I'm curious of the flame heights and melt pool at 3 hours since the diameter is 3 inches.I'm wondering if the flame on the large one may get too big. kountrytimes
Almost 2 hours of burning now. Scent throw is still really good. Will take pics at 3 hours and share.

kountrytimes
After 3 hours of burning.Medium wickLarge Wick
SouthernGal
IMHO (since you asked ) The medium wick looks perfect. It gives you a full melt pool in the correct amount of time. The flame is smaller and the melt pool is not as deep as the large. This will help give your candles a longer burn time. But before I ever make a final judgement, I always like to see how a wick performs & behaves closer to the bottom of the jar. I'm not an expert but I hope I'm of some help.Thank you for sharing your testing.
Stella1952
I think they are slightly overwicked. In a candle of that size, I really don't want to see a FMP on the first burn. Keep burning it down in test periods of 3 hours. I suspect the container is gonna get pretty hot by halfway down and be too hot near the end. anjanetta
The candles look like they are burning really good. I have been testing the wood wicks with GW464 and C 3 soy wax and notice that with both the wax turns slightly tan after about the 4th or 5th burn. Is anyone getting these results, and if so, do you happen to know why? Thanks
