sjconner Posted January 3, 2011 Share Posted January 3, 2011 The soap trolls have set up camp in my house. I have had to rebatch my last 3 batches of soap. I use the oven bag method and it works really well! I am actually starting to like rebatching.How do you get a fairly smooth top? The rebatched soap seems to stick to everything! lsg Posted January 3, 2011 Share Posted January 3, 2011 I rebatch my soap in the crockpot. After pouring it into the mold, I lay plastic wrap or waxed paper over the top of the soap and smooth it out with my hand. This seems to give me a fairly smooth top.
