sha6084
I made a hair serum today. I used Jojoba oil because its stable and doesnt feel so greasy, castor oil because it softens and shines for a long time, watermelon seed oil because its stable, not greasy and a good selling point, vitamin e because it will help the castor oil and is also a good selling point. For course african american hair..15 watermelon seed.90 castor.90 jojoba.05 vitamin e packaging will be in a 2 oz bottle with orificeI tried it and waiting to see how it turns out . does anyone have an opinion? Would love to hear it.
BlancaD
Hi, your recipe looks good, I would add another botanical oil such as Almond/Avocado and virgen coconut oil for deep conditioning..if you do decide on the coconut it would need to be packaged in a jar-as it solidifies in cooler temps, also if you are selling I would add a preservative (for oil based products) as you never know if people will introduce water into it..most people do as they apply in on wet hair with wet fingers..otherwise it sounds good, love the watermelon oil:)
