lovemylabs
We're looking for a wholesale source for rag balls. Not huge ones...small. I found some at ohio wholesale, but it's a garland and they don't tell you how big in dia they are. I guess I could always email them, but thought I'd try here first. We're going to use them for dipping. Currently doing our own, but what a pain in the butt.

SharonKay
Hi LoveMyLabs,I want to try making scented rag balls and I was wondering if you would share what type of wax you use when making them. I am getting The Candle Source paraffin wax blend tomorrow and I am hoping this will work. Thanks,Sharon Kay
lauramw71
ok, color me embarassed, but what is a scented rag ball?
SharonKay
No call me embarrassed, I didn't read your post correctly. you were just looking for the rag balls. They have directions on how to make scented rag balls by dipping them in scented wax but I am not sure on what kind of wax to use. Thanks,Sharon Kay
lovemylabs
Hey guys...sorry I'm just posting this...got carried away with other projects and just came across this. First, thanks for the links Sharon. I'll check them out. Appreciate you sending them. I've actually ordered from Factory Direct, but completely forgot about them. And Sharon Kay, I realize you have probably already tried the wax you got in, but wanted to acknowledge your post. We just use a pillar wax ... soy is all we have on hand, so we use that. I add a little more scent than if I were making candles.
SharonKay
Lovemylabs...Thanks for the information. I would think that soy would work well because the EL Soy Millennium Blend has a great cold throw I just had a problem getting a good hot throw. I hadn't thought about using more fragrance oil but I can see how that would work with the rag balls. I am going to be working on my wickless candles first then on to the scented rag balls but thank you for posting the question or I would have never known about the balls.Sharon Kay
