Ingrid Posted December 10, 2005 Share Posted December 10, 2005 I had my husband convert my presto pot and I am having difficulty with the wax going through. He used a 1/4 inch hex nipple and 3/8 inch valve. I know the instructions called for a 3/8 hex nipple, 3/8 inch full port valve and 3/8 inch elbow but he did it his way I can't stand it when one doesn't follow directions. Has anyone else had difficulty with the wax going through? I even tried putting my heat gun on the hex nipple but no luck.
