whipping soy wax

Recommended Posts

I make 100% soy wax container candles in 8 oz mason jars...I want to add a grubby topping to the candles ( just for a change) I wondered , Do iIneed to add something to the wax to get it to work

May be stearic ?

I tried to do it today with just the soy wax and it looks ok but too crumbly and soft.

I may try to put it into a baggie and do sort of a swirl topping instead if i cant get that grubby look.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I guess no one has tried this so im gonna do a few test candles today and ill post results here tomorrow.

Well first candle with htp 104 wick/ 8 oz mason jar and soy whipped topping only burned down the middle so i guess wicking is my first issue to attack before I decide how to whip the wax.

Wick suggestions would be great...I can only order one size up as that would be the largest htp wick.
