LabRN
What about putting them on a cookie sheet (cover it with foil if you want) with sevral layers of paper --- paper towels, newspaper --- and putting in a warm oven --- low temp, you want to melt the wax off without setting the paper on fire or melting your tools. Let the heat melt off what it can, then remove each item and wipe quickly with paper towels.HTH!
simplybeelightful
scrape off as much as you can, then use Goo Gone and a paper towel. Works great!
