AngelaVA Posted December 7, 2005 Share Posted December 7, 2005 My suggestion is to buy a presto pot. Take a knife and slice open the bag by cutting down each corner of the bag (so the bag peels off). Then heat up a large knife with your heat gun and slice off huge chunks to put in the presto pot. You can wrap the bag around whatever you aren't using and then just peel it away the next time you need to put more in the presto. This way, you don't have to scoop it out for every candle you want to make. I tested this extensively and got so tired of breaking my arm off to scoop it out every day. I slices about a 4-5 inch diameter (hope I'm explaining that right) around then cut that into 4 squares and put into my presto. I have to weigh mine since I blend it with another wax.
