Fundraisers and Sales Tax Exemption

I've been approached by a customer to make a candle for her Relay for Life Team. They are going to sell and then place orders with me but also wanted me to make it available on my website. My question is how to handle the sales tax....I can make it a tax exempt item through my shopping cart but is that still legit if being purchased by individuals vs by the RFL Team and then resold? I'm pretty new to this fundraiser stuff so any insight is much appreciated.
