CranberryGirl
Good Morning!I was wondering what the difference is between M&P and The Cp and HP?I know the oviouse..being made from scratch...what else???THanks so much!Tara
Linnyeg
with cp and hp you're using lye, and you can pick each ingredient and the amount of each ingredient for it's specific properties that it adds to the soap. cp and hp both have to cure a bit. You can only add small amounts of things to m&p whereas you can add more (depending on what it is) to cp and hp. They're TOTALLY different things. I started out with m&p and didnt like it at all, I much prefer cp. some people do prefer m&p though!
cryptic
I'm looking to make my own soap, but can't decide which process to go with. Any suggestions?
younggrasshper
I just started doing HP (Monday) because you can use it quicker, with CP you have to let it cure for 4 weeks or so, the hot process some people say you can use it immediately and I haven't found any problems using it right away. After Christmas I am probably going to switch to CP because you can do more with it, they say you can achieve more artistry with CP.
