It's possible. Some of those sizes are really close in yield (313, 293, 288, 283), which suggests there may not be a lot of difference in the physical size of the wick.

I looked at mine and I think I see what you mean. Sometimes, going from one size to the next, there can be discontinuities in how the wicks are made. Maybe a certain size gets a little thicker instead of wider, so it doesn't look obviously bigger.
