lbtddr Posted December 4, 2005 Share Posted December 4, 2005 i do not have a lotion calculator.could any one tell me ounces to use to say make a one lb. batch.i have soybean oil not rice bran.have several others to use if others added would help.but i need ounces.i got this recipe off of this site. Anyway, here is my basic recipe that I use in a squeeze boston round:LotionWATER PHASE water 73%glycerin or honey 2% (using this really makes a difference in my lotions but if you drop it add that 2% back to the water part)OIL PHASEStearic acid 2% (varies in some recipes I see up to 4%)Oils of choice 17% (I love liquid oils like soybean or rice bran)Ewax 4%LAST PHASEpreservative 1%FO 1% Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
