krodriguez
I've just started making body butters and I love it! However, I am finding that cocoa butter seems to dominate the smell of everything!!!!!! I've been using shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, and apricot oil. Even with adding essential oils and fragrance oil everything smells like cocoa butter with a hint of fragrance!!!! :smiley2:I want the benefits of cocoa butter but I don't want the smell to take over everything..unless I want it to smell like cocoa butter:smiley2:What is a good % of cocoa butter to have in a body butter without the smell overpowering the fragrance oil and/or essential oil? I also want to use Mango butter but it has a strong orange smell. Will this smell dominate as well? Also, which are considered your heavier oils and butters and which are considered your lighter oils and butters?
