Fern Posted December 2, 2005 Share Posted December 2, 2005 When the wick clogs, it's usually caused by excessive dye or FO. Actually, the flame will flicker low and eventually drown out. I'll ask customers now and then if they are trimming their wicks, and they say "Yes I trim that little thing on the tip of the wick before I light it everytime"LOL they aren't complaining but at least I know they are trimming, Besides it also helps me sell more wick trimmers lol!
