Hi all,

Just finished the first tutorial for the year 2010! It's a little beaded 3D Chicken charm made with right angle weave beading technique.

I used size 11/0 seed beads so all of them turned out pretty tiny, less than one inches tall each. You can always use bigger beads or even crystals to make this 3D Chicken -but remember to increase the length of the string too when you increase the bead size.

Here's the free tutorial: http://beadjewelrymaking.com/2010/project/january.html

Hi Beadangel. I like your chickens but love the pig since the granddaughters raise pigs for 4 H. Did you a tutorial for them and if so, could a novice follow the directions? Thought they would be so cute on a necklace or pin when they show. Beth

Hi Beth,

There is a tutorial for the pig but I'm afraid if you are a total beginner it might be quite hard, since it's Valentine's day soon, why not you try out the easier projects like the beaded hearts first and then try the pig?
