jnewport
Hello. I have metal votive and tart molds, and wick pins and was wondering if there is an easy way to clean them? I put them upside down on a cookie sheet on paper towels, then wipe them out and then wash and dry them. Also, what else can be used that is disposable that doesn't cost alot? Thanks, Jeanne
Stella1952
I never wash metal molds! They become "seasoned" and release better when they are simply wiped out but unwashed. I put them upside down in the oven on a cookie rack set in a pan and that does the trick. You can also just heat gun them and wipe them. I don't scrimp on the paper towels 'cause the rims are so sharp! You can wipe them out with newspaper, but do be careful...
jnewport
I wondered about washing them. I will try without washing and believe me, I won't mind having less work to do. Jeanne
