rebeccajo99
I am starting to play around with making soaps that I may want to sell someday. I had an idea in my head... the embeds turned out cute, but the overall project failed.
Billie
Cute idea. We always learn something each time we try. :smiley2:
kestagano04
I think your embeds are cute too. I agree with Billie, I know I've done a lot of learning through mistakes. Edited October 1, 2009 by kestagano04
Alajane
Rebecca, you could try pouring a small layer of clear soap and placing your embeds in it; let that set up until it gets enough of a skin that it won't melt when the next layer is poured. Spritz it with alcohol to help the layers stick together, and pour the white on top. I love your embeds and think that's a great idea you have there!HTH,Jane
rebeccajo99
Thanks everybody for your comments. Jane... Right now I only have a white base. I just started a little over a month ago, so I only baught white to start. My next purchase I will be buying the clear as well. This is so much fun... wwjacks
I like what you did, we all learn from trial and error. Keep at it and let us see the finished product.
