jnewport
I am testing 2 different fragrances and the results are the wicks are great in one fragrance and the other fragrance they are smoking and burning to hot. Should I put less fragrance in that one or should I change the wick size? I can't believe the same containers would be that much different because of a fragrance, but I'm new at this so it is probably true. Thanks again, Jeanne

I can't believe the same containers would be that much different because of a fragranceIf the smoker has great hot throw, then decrease the FO load. FO makes a HUGE difference in how a wick burns! Some are very heavy and tend to clog the wick, etc. One of my suppliers has recently changed their FOs and it's making a HUGE difference in wicking, etc. I am back to square one with testing on everything I buy from them. :rolleyes2Having said that, it helps a lot for you to tell us what wax, what additives, what FO, the amounts used, what diameter/height container, what wick & size, etc. For other issues, melting temp, pouring temp become critical. So for the best advice, give us a little more to go on.
jnewport
Ok. I am using an 8 oz. tureen jar and and 8 oz. colonial jar with ecosoya cb135 wax. I used 1 1/2 oz. fragrance also. The wicks I used are htp 126 for tureen and 1212 for colonial. Thanks again
