kyme1911
Hi, I was wondering what type of wire would be best to use to make them. I want to offer them as gift with purchase. Anyone have any ideas for a different name to call them. I really don't like name "Wick Dipper"...Thanks!
Onyx
Do a search on here - wick dippersA member made some beautiful wick dippers. Maybe you could pm her on the type/size of wire she used. Edited September 23, 2009 by Onyx

Sara
I didn't make "beautiful ones" LOL, but I bought some wire at a craft or hardware store and incorporated some glass beads into them. They were... extremely rustic looking. But they served their purpose well. I gave some away for free with candle orders and kept some for myself, then decided that I was NOT a wick-dip maker at all. I'll have to take a picture of them and post them on here. OH, sorry... eta - I don't know what guage (?) the wire was, but I looked for something I could bend with my hands, and with the help of small pliers, but was sturdy enough that it would hold form. Brenda (OH)
For myself I have used wire hangers. I cut with them with my wire cutters primarily at the radius area of the hanger. They were not by any means fancy, but served the purpose. Edited October 10, 2009 by Brenda (OH)
