Debbie73
Has anyone ever heard of this company, it is out of Nacogdoches, TX. I could not tell what kind of candle is was, soy, paraffin, etc.The top of the candle had a lot of oil on it. Some with little droplets, some with small pools of oil. When I read the warning/instruction label, it suggested to burn the candle for only 45 minutes. One of the jars was the large status jar, which I use. There was a medium and then a smaller jar. They all suggested not to burn more than 45 minutes at a time. The wicks were approximately 1" long and suggested trimming to 1/4". Why, suggest burning only 45 minutes? With that much seepage, is it dangerous? I am just curious, because I have never seen a warning label like this before.
Stella1952
Here is their website...http://www.acscentcandles.com/Funny about the burn time you stated - on their websitehttp://www.acscentcandles.com/facts.phpIt says 1 hour per inch of diameter of candle...The top of the candle had a lot of oil on it. Some with little droplets, some with small pools of oil. This is syneresis and can happen to any candle, depending on the temperature/humidity. Some waxes/FOs/% of FO are worse about this than others...If you have a problem with one of their products, why not contact them and see what they have to say? Debbie73
No, I didn't buy a candle. I was just curious about the burn time. I had never seen anybody state a specific amount of minutes. Funny their web-site says something different. I was also curious about the oil on top. I always thought that when oil showed on the top that it was a sign of too much oil, that a candle can only hold just so much. Silly me!
