Kimb
I have been using soy wax for several years, but I am thinking of changing to palm wax. I am not 100% happy with my votives, so I don't offer them currently at show, I make them for friends or cutomers that are willing to be test subjects. I would love to hear other peoples opinions if they have made the change.TIA,Kim
Stella1952
I like 'em both! I use Ecosoya PB and pillar palm waxes (IGI R2778A & R2779A + palm stearic acid) for molded votives. For container votives (one poured into a container of some kind), I use NatureWax C3 (+ USA additive) or IGI R2322A (Glass Glow). Soy-based votives have more CT, to me. However, HT is great in both. Palm votives have the advantage of the crystal appearance, which is very showy.
ScentedLuxuries
I've tried both and I still prefer soy. I too use Ecosoya PB.
