cactusladycandles
A neighbor of mine asked me to make some candles with perfume oil or pure oil. Can these oils be used in candles for fragrance?
topofmurrayhill
I'd be interested to know what "pure oil" means. I'm not familiar with that term. If it refers to essential oils, the answer is that you can make candles with some of them but not all. Personally I wouldn't tell anybody I could do it unless I already had a lot of experience with it.One thing you definitely can't do is make candles with alcohol-based fragrances, like perfumes, although you can sometimes get fragrance oils that duplicate perfume scents. cactusladycandles
I think I'll just tell her I can't do them. I have enough on my plate without testing something new. Thanks for the info.
