beau's mama
I used to melt Jojoba beads to color oil based products (mainly sugar scrubs). I kept a lot of them on hand and figured I'd make them do double duty so I wouldn't have to buy oil-based colorants.I never used enough to get super bright colors, but it was enough to give the products a bit of color. ah-soy
You need to purchase oil based/body safe colors...that's all folks!
Kimberly
I have used Mica and I have also used plain old bath and body dyes...works perfectly. I usually use bath & body dye and also jojoba beads in my sugar scrubs. Eazy as pie!
kidsngarden
I prefer liquid bath and body dyes, but they generally do not get as bright as micas. Be sure to blend in the mica with your oils or you get clumps of color.
