candlelady
Probably a stupid question, but our postmaster gave me 6 decorative oval tins to pour candles into. These have a nice label on the outside and are painted in pastel colors. I've poured into rusty tin buckets, but none were painted.Would you pour into these? I'm sure the paint would burn off, but would it catch fire or cause a major catastrophe?Gut, tells me I shouldn't, what you ya'll think? Thanks! Krafty Kandles
They could possibly leak wax out of the bottom also. I tried that with some decorative metal tins before and had a mess. I know there's got to be a way to seal them first but I just never tried them again.

Plus, I'm just leary about the paint. Thanks,Carrie
