Judy, USMC Posted July 17, 2009 Share Posted July 17, 2009 Did a search and it looks like this would be of interest to the people who read this part of the forum.This morning there was an explosion at Columbus Foods. There was no fire but, from what I could see from the TV helicopter's camera, most of the building collapsed. It appeared the most severe damage occurred in the plant proper. They reported that the incident happened when a worker was adding a chemical to another that was in a tank. It was heard and felt 3 blocks away.Luckily there were only 2 injuries. 1 person is in stable condition and the other suffered only minor injuries.Don't know how this will affect any orders that may have been placed.
