candlelady
I have a wholesale section on my website that requires you to "Request Access". That's is where they would put in their name, company, email, user id and password they wish.Well, I am constantly getting requests from OTHER candlemakers.I just recently got one, I questioned her as to why she would be wanting WS access, when she makes candles herself. What is your opinion on this? I normally don't but was wondering everyone else's thoughts. Is she scoping out other's WS pricing? Probably...do you all get some of those requests?Carrie

Tizimarezie
Is she scoping out other's WS pricing? She very well could be. When I had a website design business, competitors would often come to my site to ask for a quote just to find out my pricing. In my opinion, pricing is only ONE aspect of running a good business. If you maintain a good product and excellent customer service, pricing is secondary.

uglyduckling
Some of them are probably just seeing what your wholesale prices are, but I have several candle makers that purchase wholesale from me and resell our products because they don't make that particular item themselves.
