dabbledoya
Maybe I'm being anal, but I need advice on this~~I sold some used pb books on ebay to someone in Australia...not thinking about customs. So after researching, I learned about the custom forms, appropriate boxes/shipping etc~~no big deal. But what's bothering me is the part on the form about the tariffs?!?!? Technically this was a business transaction, but it's not anything I, or anyone else has manufactured. Should I select 'gift', or....what?? That would be dishonest, and this is bugging me. Any advice or info would be appreciated! TIA
ayshapooh
I personally would put "gift". Selling used items is kinda like having a rummage sale and people like to get things for less money when it comes to a used item and to pay all the fees that overseas people have to pay to recieve items from us can get pricey. Just my opinion
dabbledoya
I just looked on custom.gov.au and the customs tariff rate for books is "free". I'm going to check 'other' and put 'books'.(If I'm understanding it correctly, anyway :rolleyes2 )
ChrisR
I also would put it as a 'gift'!
