Bernadette
One design in a line I carry I've been making and selling for 9 years. It's made out of HP gel. I purchase several 360 lb. drums at a time, so I didn't start using the "new gel"(since Penreco sold the gel operation) until a couple of month's ago. I periodically test to make sure the wick burn is the same, and was shocked to see that with the new gel, the flame was so low, you could bearly tell the candle was lit! After intensive testing for a new wick(since I had a large order for these), I got it right, but now I'm in the process of testing the whole line. I swear they've changed the formulation, as I started out by making one from the old gel with the same wick I've used for 9 years and making one from the new gel with the same wick I've used for 9 years, and the old one burned fine but the new one was a dud! Anyone else notice this?
Vicky_CO
I have not got any new gel for a while so I have not noticed.
