Jeana
I only use EOs in my bath salts. I would love to find a way to add a vanilla to my line, but I don't want to use FO. Can I use infused vanilla beans? Is the scent strong enough? I have tried Balsam Peru (sp?) and it is vanilla-ish, but I would like something either warmer or sweeter smelling. OverSoyed
I think if you add real vanilla extract or something like that, you would need to add a preservative to the product.
singleyellowrose
Mebbe a blend of the Peru and some vanilla beans would work. I know if you put vanilla beans in white sugar it will absorb the scent.
DeAnna_EC
what about vanilla powder? if you search for "pure vanilla powder" you will find it.It could be a little pricey though, but you could maybe order a sample or try to find it in a gormet or health food store

Wildcrafter
www.stjohnsbotanicals.comTheir retail prices are high, but you contact them and they'll send you their wholesale catalog, provided you have a biz license. Those prices are great.I get their vanilla 5x EO and it is out of this world.I do a vanilla milk bath with this EO and I scrape the seeds and chop the vanilla beans as well to add to the mix. Very very nice!
