Whats That Smell
I have no idea what I'm doing, so I ask forgiveness of my stupidity in advance.I know that the FO itself can crystallize, b/c the supplier was kind enough to put a label on the bottle informing me of this fact.Is it normal for a FO to go wonky if you cut it with JoJoba oil?I'm wondering if perhaps I purchased a bottle of G-d-only-knows-what kind of oil, and it's not the "Lite JoJoba" oil it claims to be, or if this is at all normal. Darbla
I'd say that's not normal. I've made many perfume oils and body oils with just FO and jojoba and can honestly say I have never had a single one "go wonky".
Scented
Try it with another FO and see if it does the same thing again. FOs tend to crystallize when it's cold. You aren't putting this in the fridge, pouring on an iceberg, storing in the deep freeze etc. are you? I could be wrong, but it could be some other kind of material that's floating in your FO and not crystallization at all. Some people have gotten foreign matter in their oils before, so I wouldn't rule that out either. Foreign matter may have been bottom of of the barrell stuff etc.
