polishing soap

I am just starting to make bath and body products. I have been wanting to start eariler but had too many other things to finish first.

I just made some glycerin soap and I would like to polish it to give it a smoother appearence. Do any of you polish or do anything to your soaps before you package them? :smiley2:

I typically like how they look fresh out of the mold. Sometimes I take a knife to the edge if it's rough (which happens from pouring) and will take a cloth and gently wipe them if they've got finger prints (from my cleaning the edge), or any other surface marks.
