KoalaGirl
Hi everyoneQuite often, my tarts have a much stronger scent {too strong sometimes} for about the first 3 hours and then settle down to a more milder scent {which I often prefer}. Does anyone know why this is? Could it be that Im using too much oil {I use 12 or 13%}. Since wax will only hold so much oil, maybe its the 'excess' oil that causes the initial strong scent. I want my tarts to smell the same from start to finish.I know, I know, I should just test them with a lower percentage of oil, and I will, I promise. Im just fishing for clues, before I waste any more wax. I use ecosoya PB.Thanks in advance for any 'clues'.
Vicky_CO
They will never smell as strong from start to finish, the scent will always dissipate over time. I personaly think you maybe using to much scent and are wasting a lot that burning off to fast.
Cissy
I agree, it is impossible to make a 'time-released' tart.
Jess05
Your using way to much oil....normal is 1 oz pp in Ecosoya pb...the most I would use is 1.5. Your wasting money and fragrance oil. Def. cut down on your oil usage. What oils have you tried using?
