samandkennasmom
Hi all!I was just wondering how ya all package your m&p soaps? Do you wrap it in something or use those brown kraft boxes? I love packaging stuff up so it looks neat....not just a boring wrap or something so that's why was curious as to what everyone else does..Thanks!Hugs!Michele

DeAnna_EC
it really depends on the soapif i make shapes i usually just plastic wrap them, saran wrap with a nice bowsometimes i put them in bags with a cute hanging tagif theyre just for the family i wrap then in saran wrap and keep them in a basket in the closet for the family to grab when they need if theyre small guest size bars i wrap in saran, then put 3 or 4 together and tie off with a ribbon and tag with fragrance names

Darbla
So Saran wrap / kitchen plastic wrap does not suck the scent out of stuff like Ziploc bags do?
lindanelson
I shrink wrap, then tape a paper label band, (my version of a cigar band) around it.
Blossom
I've tried boxes and those are nice. I really do not like having to double package my soap (ie shrink or wrap and then box) so I've done just plain boxes without cutouts.Issue, is that you can't see the soap. And that is what sells it. Shrink wrapping tends to sag and not look nice.MP is one of my favorite things to do, but such an effort to package! I'm starting to gift wrap mine (ie wrap in paper like a gift). Starr
I use resealable cello bags. The 3x5 size holds all the different types of bars I make and looks better to me then saranwrap which is usually what I see most recommended as it's so readily available. If you shop around, you should be able to get a whole slew of them for a good price. I typically buy them on eBay and get somewhere between 300-500 for under $10 shipped. Then I stick some labels on the bag, have fun with ribbons, bows, etc...
