cestlavielumiere
I know this may sound stupid, but here goes... What is dendrite salt? I have been doing lots of research and just about every recipe calls for this type of salt. I know I can kind Epsom Salt but where does one find: Dendrite salt & Dead Sea Salt? cestlavielumiere
Epsom Salt, I can get from Wal-Mart. Where can you get Dead Sea Salt? Is it the same as Morton's Coarse Sea Salt? Would you find Dendrtic Salt at a Walgreens?
asheebeans
I got my dendritic salt from WSP. But I live close enough to pick it up--their shipping can be crazy expensive!!
Deda
Try swapping out the dendtric salt for natrasorb. Measure by volume and cut the amount in half. It makes the water feel so silky, really adds to the salts. IMHO.
cestlavielumiere
Where do I find Natrasorb? Can you use rock salt (the salt used in making ice cream)?
Sister Kya
Dendritic salt is pretty much the exact opposite of rock salt. Not the same at all. You'll probably be challenged finding it locally and certainly not on your grocery shelves. Try eBay.
