metalicmermaid
Hi all, Thanks for the replies on my last thread. I just have another quick question. I have found the cutest little chocolate shaped latex moulds and was wondering whether i can put hot wax into them? The details with them say for use with 'cooled wax' but as i am new this term has me completely stumped. I assume this term does not refer to normal wax cooled a little? Also, The same question for silicone moulds like the ones you get to make cakes and stuff in..Thoroughly enjoying my new hobby =)Thanks for all your help. lindanelson
Welcome to the addiction of candle making.I have wilton silicone molds that will take upto 500 degrees of heat. Pouring melts and soap is not a problem. I know nothing about latex though.Have fun.
