Firefly
Hello,I often make bath salts with a mix of course rock salt, fine sea salt, epsom salts, dead sea salts etc. The thing is I'm running low on my salts but have a huge 10 pounds of dentritic sea salts. Would these be okay to mix with epsom salts to make bath salts? I ordered this salt from the States as it isn't here in Canada and just wondered if anyone has used them in bath salts? Meridith
Absolutely you can use it in bath salts. Dendric salt is great to use to bind the FO without clumping.
blazerina
Yep, Meridith is right. Dendritic salt was pretty much 'made' for use in bath salts. By that I mean it's perfect for them because of the nature of the surfaces of the crystals that allow them to hold more FO. Have fun with it! trishsmecca
I was just looking at some salts recipes on "From Nature with Love" and they have DS in them....I have never incorporated in my salts but I am going to give it a try also.Trish
TheQueen
You sure can. I use 2 parts epsom salts, 1 part sea salt and 1 part dendritic salt. Along with a little olive oil, baking soda and FO. Makes a great bath salt mixture.
Firefly
Thanks for the advice, tips and recipe. I'm looking so forward to trying this now. I was at a craft show yesterday and sold out of lots of things and have another show on Saturday so have to stock up.
