sawdustcottage
Hi All, It has been a while since I have been on here (and had to re-register in fact) but this new look is great.I was surprised to hear that Astorlite is going the way of the dinosaurs (?)........ and freaked out a bit over it. (I love the J223). So I ordered the new performance something or other from Peak and it looks and feels like the J223. Has anyone used this? I havent poured anything yet (I just rec'd the wax yesterday but have an order for 25 candles so I'll be using it SOON).
prairieannie
I've made the switch from J223 to Peaks preformance container..I have noticed NO differences at all yet. If I didn't know, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference!
sudsnwicks
J223 is still available from other suppliers. It is only Peak who discontinued it because they switched to their own custom formulations.
Breanna
I have switched over to peaks performance blend also and it is just like the J223,,,,and cheaper,, I LOVE IT!!!
sawdustcottage
I normally was geting my J223 from a supplier in WA and he told me they (Astorlite) were not going to be producing it any longer, along with the IGI. So when I checked out Peak, and heard something similar I figured I was out of luck (until I saw the performance blend). Hooray.

Wow, that's news to me. I have heard only good things about peak's custom blends, so you're in luck. I have not tried them yet but will be getting them for sure with my next order.
