Question about Safflower oil

RNSandSCENTS

Recommended Posts

I purchased some safflower oil at the market. When I got home and read the ingredients, it says Expeller pressed safflower oil, tocopheryl acetate and dl tocopherol (vitamin e). In all my MANY hours of reading here and couple of other places, it has been said that vitamin e retards oils turning rancid so I am thinking its just in here to extend the shelf life.

Is this ok to use in b&b? I am figuring yes but just thought I'd ask you first. The bottle was $2 for 32oz, its being discontinued.
