PamR
Ok, is there a trick to getting wick pins out of votives made with the ecosoya pb without breaking the bottom? I am having fits trying to get a decent votive out of this wax. ThanksPamR
Kimdles
Hi Pam: The problems you speak of are exactly why I sold all my wick pins!! LOL.I used to tap the bottom gently (with a meat tenderizer of all things!) and darn near 1/2 of them would lose their bottoms. I don't use them anymore, I simply place them all myself and stand there readjusting until they are firm. A little more work in the beginning but no repouring!!Kimwww.Kimdles.com
beechcreekcandles
We heat the bottom of the base over an open flame for about 3-5 seconds then use a craft hammer to tap the pin out. With a little practice you won't have any breakages.
Dolphin146
I don't use wick pins anymore for the PB wax. They allways broke on the bottom. Now I use self centering wick from wsp and no more trouble. Regina
