the_amber_woods
I'd like to give out some lotion as gifts for this christmas, however I'm no where NEAR giving out something I created from scratch.I was looking into bases and found the Multi-Bases E1??? Just add water right?Anyone have any experinces with these? Where they good? Did they incorporate well with FO's? What about feel? Cost v/s buying a gallon of base? How much would I need to buy to make a gallon of lotion?
foxhill
I used the multi-base from save on scents for a while. I liked it fine, it takes a lot of mixing to get the lotion totally mixed into the water, but that was before I had a handmixer to use too. I'm not sure how much you would need for a gallon of lotion since you can mix it to be thick or thinner to your preference. A 1 lb. tub made 4 pounds of lotion for me. It took the FO well and didn't separate. I don't color my lotions so I don't know about the dye.
Guest Julie G.'s Buddy
I just started playing with the lotion base from NG. I like it just fine but man I need to get a hand mixer.
