DPG and candle fragrance for reed diffusers

Hi everyone. I am sorry if this was asked before. I've done tons of searching and I haven't found any answers to my questions so I decided to start a thread.

My question is... to make reed diffusers, all I have to do is mix DPG with candle fragrance? At a half/half mixture? I keep hearing that with the DPG that it doesn't work well because it's too thick. Has anyone had any sucess using the DPG to make reed diffusers at all?

Thanks in advance and again if this was asked before then my apologies.

Thanks Sharon. I've checked it out and the supplier that I usually use doesn't carry the diffuser base but I am hoping that they will in the near future. Otherwise I have found it through another supplier. Have you ever come across a fragrance that just didn't work in the base? From all the reading I've been doing, I'm seeing that the thicker oils just don't do well in the reed diffuser kits? Has this ever happened to you?
